The Gruen Transfer is a show about advertising, how it works, and how it works on us. Hosted by the inimitable Wil Anderson, TGT will decode and defuse the commercial messages that swirl through our lives, with the help of a panel of ad industry experts. The first episode will air on Wednesday May 28 at 9pm, but there’s no need to wait to enter Gruenworld. We’re looking for your input now. There are two ways to get involved. First, send us your tips. Which ads do you love? Which do you hate? Are there ads that just don’t make any sense to you? Have you spotted mistakes in ads, or ads you think are just plain wrong? Tell us now. Let us be your adbusters. Second, roll your sleeves up and make your own ad. It’s easy. We’ve made all the tools available on the site. You can pick and choose from our footage or add your own. We’ll showcase the results here. And if you’re as brilliant as you think you are, we’ll screen your effort on the show.
